A 65-year-old male is now 6 weeks status post an uncomplicated total knee arthroplasty. Figures A and B represent his x-rays at today's visit. His primary complaint is knee stiffness. His current passive range of motion is 0-80 degrees, compared to 120 degrees preoperatively, and he has failed to improve with physical therapy. He is otherwise afebrile, has no incisional erythema or pain, and CRP is within normal limits.
