• CASE
    • We present the case of a 33-year-old man with a history of recurrent shoulder instability who sustained an injury during a mountain biking incident. Magnetic resonance imaging confirmed a Bankart lesion with a Hill-Sachs defect and a pectoralis major tear of the left shoulder. The patient underwent successful open Bankart repair with pectoralis major repair. At 1-year follow-up, he had regained full range of motion and reported excellent functional recovery.
  • CONCLUSION
    • This case highlights the simultaneous occurrence of a Bankart lesion and pectoralis major tear and supports an open repair approach as an alternative treatment strategy.
