  • Summary
    • Injectable, moldable, drillable ceramic bone graft substitute used to fill non-structural bone voids/gaps; not a load-bearing implant.
    • Biphasic composite designed to balance resorption with bone ingrowth; 60% calcium sulfate + 40% hydroxyapatite. Iohexol in the liquid (C-TRU) provides radiopacity during placement.
    • Supplied as powder + liquid with a combined mixing/injection (CMI) system; available volumes: 5 mL, 10 mL, 18 mL
  • Indications
    • Filler for gaps/voids in the extremities, pelvis, and posterolateral spine (open surgery only); defects may result from trauma or surgery, or from benign bone cysts/tumors (adults and pediatric patients ≥9 years).
    • Resorbs and is replaced by bone over time. bonesupport.com Can augment hardware and support bone fragments intra-op; drillable after set (temporary support only)
