Dr. Steven J. MacDonald is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Western University and serves as the Chair/Chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also the J.C. Kennedy Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. MacDonald specializes in adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery and has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the John Charnley Award from the Hip Society and the Insall Award from the Knee Society. Dr. MacDonald is a member and leader of multiple orthopaedic organizations, including the North American Hip Society, the International Hip Society, and the North American Knee Society.
