Biography

Dr. Spencer Woolwine is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic oncology, primary and complex/revision arthroplasty, and trauma. Dr. Woolwine received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in 2015. Following medical school, he completed an internship in anesthesiology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, and was matched into orthopaedic surgery at the University of California San Francisco - Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then completed his orthopaedic oncology and complex reconstruction fellowship at Emory University under Drs Reimer and Oskouei. Currently, Dr. Woolwine has taken his expertise back to the San Joaquin Valley of central California to be the only sarcoma and complex reconstruction surgeon between Los Angeles and San Francisco. He evaluates and treats patients of all ages with benign and malignant tumors, metastatic disease, metabolic bone disorders, trauma, limb deformity, amputees seeking osseointegration, and primary and revision arthroplasty patients. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery with UCSF-Fresno, and his office is in Clovis, CA.
