Course Details

The Foundation for Orthopedic Trauma Pelvic Acetabular Dissection Approach course is geared towards the PGY4 to Fellow level of study for Orthopedic Residents & Fellows. The ratio of faculty to participants is 1:3 and purely hands on dissection based.

Hands-on experience to vital anterior and posterior approaches:
-Anterior Intrapelvic Approach
-Ilioinguinal Approach
-Lateral Window +/- ASIS Osteotomy
-Kocher-Langenbeck Approach
-Open Approach to SI Joint/Sacrum
-Torchanteric Osteotomies
