Overview

Program Chair Scott Luhmann, MD and Program Co-chair Grant Hogue, MD invite you to join us in San Diego, CA for the 20th International Congress on Early Onset Scoliosis (ICEOS), the world’s leading conference addressing complex spinal disorders in the growing child. Known for its highly interactive and collegial atmosphere, the meeting will attract approximately 175 surgeons and allied health professionals from around the world. The program will include outstanding free papers, expert lectures, panel discussions, and workshops.

Course Objectives

As a result of this activity, Participants should be better able to:

  • Describe how EOS impacts the chest wall, lungs and pulmonary function.

  • Discuss the rationale and indications for nonoperative and surgical management of various early onset and growing spine pathologies and disorders.

  • Describe the latest surgical techniques used to manage various pediatric spinal deformities in the growing child.

  • Discuss the role of emerging innovations, genetic and genomic analysis, AI, and enabling technologies in the management of EOS and growing spine pathologies and disorders.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for orthopedic and neurological surgeons, fellows, and residents who include pediatric spinal deformity surgery in their practices. Nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians providing non-operative care of spinal deformities may also benefit from the course.
