Course Overview:
This course is designed to provide new traumatologists an overview of anatomic and theoretical knowledge of the pelvis and acetabulum. Participants will share recent best practices, engage in discussions on controversial issues regarding treatment algorithms and surgical approaches to reduction and fixation, address challenges, and reconnect with leading trauma surgeons from around the world.
The course curriculum allows ample opportunity for the attendee to customize their own experience:
Bring a case for group discussion
Explore new approaches/techniques in the lab
Engage with experts on the uses of advancing technology
Course Objectives:
After this course you should be able to:
Provide a foundation of anatomic and theoretical knowledge of the pelvis and acetabulum.
Discuss and demonstrate acute and definitive stabilization techniques and surgical exposures.
Provide group case discussions of controversial issues regarding treatment algorithms and surgical
approaches to reduction and fixation.

Trauma Attendings 1-5 years out of fellowship
