Biography

Dr. Behnam "Ben" Sharareh grew up in Southern California and went to UCLA for his undergraduate studies where he graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Bioengineering. He obtained his MD from UC Irvine where he was inducted as Junior AOA. He currently is an Orthopedic Surgery resident at Baylor College of Medicine where he has been the recipient of the Wooden Pager Junior Resident Award, the ER Consultant of the Year Award, Inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and is the program representative at the AOA resident leadership committee in 2020. He has over 20 peer-reviewed publications. His current interests are in Shoulder and Elbow surgery.
