Dr. Shariff K. Bishai is a dual board-certified orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon specializing in shoulder care, sports injuries, and joint reconstruction. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Plancher Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in New York City. Dr. Bishai has been recognized in Hour Detroit Magazine's Top Docs lists and was named a 2025 National Leading Doctor in Sports Medicine by Newsweek. He holds academic appointments at Michigan State University, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, and Wayne State University College of Medicine. Dr. Bishai is actively involved in professional organizations and serves as chair of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Orthopaedic Video Theater Committee.
