Dr. Roger McCoy has been a team physician at Arizona State University since 1994 and recently took over as Lead Team Physician. He's been the Head Primary Care Sports Medicine team physician for the Arizona Diamondbacks since 1996 when the team had only minor league affiliates. He also has become a team physician for the Arizona Rattlers. He received his sports medicine fellowship training at Michigan State University and passed his Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Family Practice and has passed and maintained his Family Practice Board certification. He has a busy private practice in the valley entailing both sports medicine and primary care. In addition, Dr. McCoy is flattered to be voted as one of the “Top Docs” by Phoenix Magazine in 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. He is also certified on IMPACT concussion neuropsychological testing and has been an active evaluator on concussions for over 20 years.
