Terri Jo Rucinski is the Head Athletic Trainer for the baseball team at the University of North Carolina. She also serves as the Clinical Coordinator for the Campus Health Service Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Clinic, and is a staff physical therapist. Rucinski lectures in the graduate athletic training program, focusing on the prevention and rehabilitation of shoulder injuries. She has been involved with the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers since 1989, serving on several examination development committees. In 2017, she was matched with Remington, a medical alert assistance dog who also serves as a rehabilitative facility dog for UNC Sports Medicine.
