Biography

Dr. Yoni Rosenblatt, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, USAW, Cert. DN, received his Bachelors in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park. He went on to complete his doctorate of physical therapy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. It was there that Yoni experienced both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy with special tutelage dedicated to manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. Prior to True Sports PT, Dr. Rosenblatt amassed years of experience treating in a hand and sports rehabilitation facility, rehabilitating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics as well as athletes of all levels. Additionally, he was instrumental in the growth of a sports rehabilitation clinic in Towson prior to the founding of True Sports Physical Therapy in Baltimore. Dr. Rosenblatt has completed extensive continuing education coursework towards a manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy and has certifications in Advanced Techniques in Dry Needling as well as being an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Rosenblatt has experience developing off- season training and rehab protocols for Division I, Olympic and professional athletes. He is also the Director of Sports Medicine for Israel National Lacrosse, coordinating care for all international competition and physical therapist for the Israel National Baseball team, competing in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Dr. Rosenblatt has also instructed students from Towson University, Goucher College, University of Maryland, and Stevenson University in their undergraduate and graduate studies. His treatment philosophy is heavily predicated on supporting his manual interventions with patient specific therapeutic exercise in order to treat a given pathology and prevent recurrence. In addition to his passion for manual and sports therapy, Dr. Rosenblatt possesses experience treating patients suffering from vertigo and vestibular dysfunctions of all kinds. Other clinical specialties include acute ankle rehabilitation, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine dysfunctions as well as custom upper extremity splint and orthotic fabrication.
