Biography

Dr. Camp is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery. Since 2019, he has been Medical Director, Team Physician, and Director of High Performance for the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club. Dr. Camp conducts clinical and basic science research on injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee, including biomechanics of the throwing motion, injuries in overhead throwing athletes, and epidemiology of injuries in professional baseball and other sports-related injuries. Much of this research focuses on injury prevention, improving surgical techniques, and optimizing return-to-play times.
