Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Lebanon, Diane is a Medical Doctor who was just appointed as a Teaching Associate of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University for the Summer 2024. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery - Division of Orthopaedic Trauma (2022-2024) who graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB). Alongside her medical journey, she completed the scholarly concentration track where she worked on research in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. She has also partaken in research projects in pediatrics, biomechanics & orthopaedics, and gender equity in medicine. The quadrilingual doctor graduated from AUB with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology, with distinction, whilst being an active student-athlete advocating for change and empowering people wherever she went.
