Biography

Dr. Grant Garrigues is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Harvard University and completed a research degree at MIT. Dr. Garrigues completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center and a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. He has held key positions at Duke University, including Section Head for Shoulder Reconstruction, Co-Director of Upper Extremity Trauma Surgery, and Co-Director of the Duke Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Garrigues is currently practicing at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He is also a co-team physician for the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and MLB’s Chicago White Sox.
