Dr. Evan M. Loewy is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Miami in 2013, followed by a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of South Florida. He further specialized with a fellowship at the OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute. Dr. Loewy is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida and serves as the Fellowship Director for the Florida Orthopaedic Institute Foot and Ankle Surgery fellowship program. He has been recognized for his research, receiving the Roger A. Mann award in 2021 for his work on long-term outcomes of total ankle replacement versus ankle fusion.
