Dr. Rekant is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Attending Physician at Virtua Hospital of Burlington, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. Attending Physician at Lourdes Hospitals, Burlington and Camden Divisions, Department of Orthpaedic Surgery Attending Physician at Hahnemann Hospital, Department of Orthpaedic Surgery. Dr. Rekant has been with The Philadelphia Hand Center since 2001. He proudly delivers specialized Orthopaedic care and treatment of both simple and complex ailments of the hands, wrists, elbow and shoulders. Dr. Rekant has published numerous peer-reviewed papers in professional medical literature on subjects ranging from general repair techniques and core knowledge to the unique characteristics of various syndromes and injuries in the general population and athletes, in particular. He has presented routinely for over a decade at national and international conferences and symposia.
