Biography

Dr. Andrew Dold is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon (American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine) and Director of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Star Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Frisco, Texas. He completed his sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at NYU Langone / Hospital for Joint Diseases after residency at the University of Toronto. His practice focuses on arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder, Achilles tendon ruptures, robotic knee replacement and direct anterior hip replacement, along with non-operative care including PRP. He has cared for athletes from the NFL, NBA, NHL, PGA Tour and Major League Rugby, as well as USA Gymnastics athletes.
