Julio A. Hernandez, PA-C, ATC, is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and a master's degree in education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He earned his Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Emory University. Prior to joining Orlando Orthopaedic Center, he worked as an athletic trainer in professional baseball with the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed in Florida. He is also a certified athletic trainer.
