Dr. Shaun Patel is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction and joint replacement. He takes a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and management of hip and knee pain, incorporating the latest advancements in technology, perioperative pain management, and recovery. He has a particular focus on the direct anterior approach to hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the University of Michigan, where he was a Dean's Merit Scholar and the only graduate with distinction in research, service, and medical education. He then completed his residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program where he was named Chief Resident of the Year.
