Dr. Ashley J. Bassett is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and minimally invasive surgical treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries. She serves as the director of the Women's Sports Medicine Center at the Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey and is a team physician for USA Gymnastics. Dr. Bassett graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2013, completed her residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, and pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine Surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and hosts 'The Sports Docs Podcast,' exploring developments in sports medicine.
