Biography

Dr. Mark A. Mighell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He completed his medical education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1990, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Dr. Mighell further specialized through a fellowship in shoulder and elbow reconstruction at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. He has been practicing since 2001 and is affiliated with several hospitals in the Tampa area, including St. Joseph's Hospital, AdventHealth Carrollwood, AdventHealth Tampa, and Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Mighell is known for his expertise in advanced surgical techniques such as elbow arthroscopy, reverse total shoulder replacement, and shoulder reconstruction.
