• ABSTRACT
    • Workers' compensation reimbursement for providers has dramatically changed in the last five years with the passage of Act 44 in 1993 and Act 57 in 1996. Those new laws create forms, requirements, and prerequisites to payment. In November in five locations across the state, the State Society will sponsor one-day seminars on workers' compensation reimbursement. In this issue we begin a series of three articles on this topic, using some questions and answers posed by doctors and their staff. The articles supplement the Society's "Step-By-Step Guide to Workers' Compensation Reimbursement," to be published in conjunction with the seminars.
