    Ronald Burkle International Fellowship

    Are you a surgeon from a
    middle to low-income country? Be selected as a Ronald Burkle International Fellow and receive a $3700 USD educational grant to cover travel expenses for a trip from your country to Nashville, TN from May 17-18 2024. Twenty different fellows from eligible countries will be selected. Spots will be filled on a rolling basis so apply today

Ronald Burkle International Fellowship
WHO CAN APPLY?
The Ronald Burkle International Fellowship is offered to support the AHF 2024 attendance for 20 hip surgeons from low and middle income countries (eligible country list below). Ideal candidates should demonstrate a dedicated focus on hip surgery, an interest in anterior approach hip replacement, and active involvement in surgeon education within their country or region. 

HOW TO APPLY?
To apply you must fill out the application on the AHF website and submit a personal case on Orthobullets. See below for details regarding case requirements and instructions for uploading.

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED?
Fellows who are selected will receive a $3,700 fellowship stipend for the AHF 2024 meeting attendance. The stipend will be used for travel, hotel accomodations, and food during travel. Visa applications must be submitted by February 15th. For detailed information, please email info@hipahf.com

Ensure Your Case Meets the Following Criteria

 1. Any pathology treated with total hip
 2. P
rimary or Revision Hip Case 

 3. Case that is challenging/unusual/require interesting decision making

Join the AHF Event Group

Click the button above to join the AHF 2024 Event Group and then upload your case.

Upload your case to Orthobullets.com

After joining the AHF 2024 Event Group, you will be redirected the Orthobullets Case Submission page where you can upload your case.

 

Include the following information: 

 1.  At least 1 preop xray

 2. Complete patient history and physical

 3. Intraoperative photos or fluoroscopic images (optional)

 4. Postoperative images
