Residents Surgeon Summit AUG 2025

Overview

This two-day Residents Summit includes cadaveric surgical skills workshops, didactic sessions, and interactive fireside case discussions. AO principles, detailed anatomic discussion and dissection, surgical approaches, new concepts and innovative treatment options for upper extremity fracture management and complex reconstruction will be taught by expert faculty surgeons and renowned professors.

Participant Profile

This course is open 4th and 5th year orthopedic residents with an interest in practicing hand and upper extremity surgery.

Learning Objectives

• The extended FCR approach for simple and complex distal radius fractures

• Volar, dorsal, and bridge plating for distal radius fractures

• Ulnar head fracture management & Ulnar Impaction Syndrome

• Common Hand Fractures

• Both bone forearm fractures

• Hand and wrist arthrodesis

• Radial head fractures & elbow instability

• Distal humerus and shaft fracture management
