Dr. Caroline Andrew is a physician at Hospital for Special Surgery, directing a medical weight management program. She is also an assistant professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is board certified in internal medicine and fellowship trained in obesity medicine. Dr. Andrew completed her residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College. She then went on to serve as a chief resident in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and complete a fellowship in obesity medicine at the Comprehensive Weight Control Center at Weill Cornell. Dr. Andrew received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Andrew's practice helps patients meet their optimal weight loss goals through lifestyle modification, the use of medications, and minimally invasive procedures, ultimately benefiting their health, as well as improving their quality of life. She takes a personalized and compassionate approach to weight loss, performing an initial comprehensive assessment and tailoring recommendations to a patient's specific history and presentation. Dr. Andrew is a firm believer in the implementation of individualized treatment plans in helping people lose weight and then maintain their weight loss. Dr. Andrew has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national conferences on the topic of obesity.
