Dr. Craig Forsthoefel is an orthopedic spine surgery fellow at Johns Hopkins University. He recently graduated from the University of Illinois orthopedic surgery residency. Prior to college, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 2005 to 2009. Upon honorable discharge from the military, he attended Colorado State University where he double-majored in chemistry and biomedical sciences. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine where he received a Medical Doctorate (MD) with honors in 2017 and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. In his spare time, he enjoys weightlifting, running, and spending time with his wife and dog.
