Orthobullets Author (positions filled for Spring 2021)
  • Overview
    • We are looking to recruit orthopaedic residents who are dedicated to education, technology innovation, and excellence in their work to join the Orthobullets editorial team. This is not only a great way to learn orthopaedic material, but a great opportunity to make a global impact on orthopaedic education, and get recognized for doing so.
  • The Work
    • Write and review questions
    • Write and review topics
    • Write technique guides
  • Compensation
    • Pay is very competitive and residents can expect to earn $250 to $1250 per month. Payment is made the following month and made via a direct deposit to your bank. You are paid as in independent contractor, so it is your responsibility to report your revenue for tax purposes. You are given a 1099 at the end of each year.
  • Required Qualifications
    • MD or DO PGY2-5 Resident 
    • United States residence 
    • At least one OITE Score in last 2 years > 90% PGY Rank

 Medbullets Step 1 Author (positions filled for Spring 2021)
 
  • Overview
    • We are looking to recruit 1st and 2nd Year medical students who are dedicated to education, technology innovation, and excellence in their work to join the Medbullets editorial team. This is a great way to study for your board exams while getting paid and contributing to medical education.
  • The Work
    • Write and review USMLE-style Step 1 questions
    • Write and review topics
  • Compensation
    • Depends on individual level of involvement/productivity, but can expect to earn $250-$750 a month
  • Required Qualifications
    • 1st or 2nd year student currently enrolled at a US medical school
    • MCAT score of 36 (old scoring system) or 518 (new scoring system) or higher

This is a great way to study for your board exams while getting paid and contributing to medical education.

    • Write and review USMLE-style Step 2 questions
    • Write and review topics
  • Compensation
    • Depends on individual level of involvement/productivity, but can expect to earn $250-$750 a month
  • Required Qualifications
    • 3rd or 4th year student currently enrolled at a US medical school
    • Currently in or completed clinical clerkships
    • USMLE Step 1 Score of 240 or higher

Medbullets Product Development Specialist
 
  • Overview
    • This is an exciting opportunity to drive disruptive initiatives in medical training that ultimately provide better care to patients. With our unparalleled track record of building innovative products for the medical community, we’re seeking energetic and motivated medical students to help us improve our products and technologies offered on Medbullets.
  • The Work
    • This is a part-time independent contractor role that will involve working on a remote team. 
    • Be a part of a 5-10 person team of medical students who will collaborate with and provide feedback to the Medbullets business team. This is the perfect role for individuals interested in product development and technology, as you will help inform the strategic positioning of educational products on Medbullets.
    • Consistently testing Medbullets technology and providing feedback on study plans, our proprietary Anconeus daily learning algorithm, and flashcard system. 
  • Compensation
    • $35 USD/ hour
    • 2.5 hours of independent work per week - testing the different products and technologies
    • 1 hour mandatory monthly meeting - providing feedback and engaging in discussion and brainstorming with the team
    • You are paid as in independent contractor, so it is your responsibility to report your revenue for tax purposes. You are given a 1099 at the end of each year. Applicants located within the United States will be paid via Intuit. Applicants located outside of the United States will be considered, but they must be able to sign up for payment through Payoneer. 
  • Required Qualifications
    • Must be currently enrolled in medical school 
    • For 1st and 2nd year students: MCAT score of 510 or above
    • For 3rd and 4th year students: USMLE Step 1 score of 250 or above 
    • Must have ample experience using spaced repetition learning algorithms/platforms (ex: Anki, Brainscape) and study Qbanks/platforms (ex: UWorld, AMBOSS, Kaplan) 
    • Interest in product development and deeply passionate about technology 
    • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with business interest or academic aspirations 
    • Great attention to detail and strong communication skills 
    • Must have their own computer, an office free from distractions with high speed internet service and access to Skype or Zoom 
    • Must be fluent in English
